£20m Building Schools for the Future scheme involved the construction of a substantial two storey steel framed main teaching block with ancillary sports hall, sports changing and dining hall buildings on an existing school site. Approximately 40% of the existing school was demolished, with the rest retained and refurbished.
The new buildings wrap around and tie in to the existing buildings at several junctions. All works were completed while the school remained open and occupied.
