New medical centre developed through the LIFT Framework in Darnall, Sheffield.
The building was part two storey, part single storey steel frame with composite concrete / metal deck first floor and low-pitch roof. The steel frame was selected to provide adequate future flexibility and to accommodate the precise space requirements of the practitioners.
Historical mining was a feature of the site and the foundations were designed to bridge bell pits which were identified during excavation.
